Siberian Husky Wins “2012 Cutest Puppy Contest”

Duluth, MN – Demo, a Siberian Husky, owner, Lisa Hausko, Duluth, MN, out-charmed a capacity field of competitors to earn 1st Place in the annual John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon “Cutest Puppy Contest”. The contest featured a variety of canines in all shapes and sizes. Lena Lu, a Mini Australian Shepard, owner, LeeAnn Frestedt, Duluth, MN, took 2nd Place while Skye, an Australian Shepard, owner, Karie Simpson, Duluth, MN, took 3rd Place.
The contest was open to the public, and all donations went to benefit our hard-working Veterianrian Crew, whose work during the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon ensures the health and safety of our canine athletes.
Thanks to all of our contest competitors, their owners,spectators and our coordinators, Lisa Winter and Shari Illig and our wonderful volunteers for making this year’s “Cutest Puppy Contest” exciting and memorable.
