Your Mail Carried By Dog Sled!

In the spirit and tradition of John Beargrease, the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon and Mid Distance race afford everyone the oportunity to have actual mail carried by dogsled!

Here's how it works:
1. Purchase your trail mail envelope, featuring the art of Alberta Erickson, Carlton, MN. (click here to purchase online, or send in your order by clicking here and printing the form)
2. Place your letter in the Trail Mail envelope and address as usual and afix adequate postage.
3. Return to the Beargrease office, in the envelope provided no later than 1/15/2008

Your mail will receive a unique hand cancellation and signed by the musher that will carry it during the race. Mushers will carry mail in mailbags provided by the sponsor Frost River. Mail will be collected at the mid distance finish line and Trail Center checkpoint where it will be put into the regular mailstream to continue to it's final destination.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Trail Mail MUST be back at Beargrease office by Jan. 15, 2008
