The rules for 2010 have seen only minor changes. Be sure to read the 2010 Marathon Rules or 2010 Mid-Distance Rules for all the changes.

Hello Mushers:

I am writing to welcome you to the 2010 running John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon.

The route for both races will be unchanged from the 2009 running.

Because of late notice to the RGO of the unavailability, the exact location of the rce start within Duluth is TBA. We are working hard to finalize an alternate location, and will let you know as soon as we can. Rest assured that saftey will be paramount in our process, and we do not anticipate that this change will impact the length of the race by more than a few miles.
