It is not required to attend meetings to be a volunteer. If you are unable to attend; please contact the Beargrease Office, email volunteers@beargrease.com, or sign up online to become a volunteer. We appreciate your interest and welcome new volunteers!
You must also fill out a Volunteer Release to Volunteer for the Beargrease.
The John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon is a membership and volunteer based organization. Through the loyal support of our members, the "Beargrease" is the longest running sled dog race in the lower 48 states. Membership continues to be vital to our ongoing success and growth.
All members receive a membership decal, 10% discount on merchandise, E-News and a vote at the annual meeting for the Board of Directors. Other entitlements are based on level of membership. Whether a Trail Member or Mile Marker Member - your support is appreciated! Join or renew today!
